james: Be The Jedi!

Aparently I’m a Jedi. And rather full of myself, as well:

A venerated sage with vast power and knowledge, you gently guide forces around you while serving as a champion of the light.

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

 Go figure ;) .

cheryl: The Test…

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

Putting your appointed path ahead of any inner conflicts, you make your own rules for the benefit of all.

If my life or death I can protect you, I will.

Well here are my results. I am Aragorn aparently. Very exciting.

cheryl: Theme

Well I got tired of looking at the same old background so here is another of the template backgrounds. I think it’s working a little better with our content. I like it exept for the little green thing at the top. Guess I can’t have everything (yet). =)

cheryl: Fall Festival

It is truely fall now. SAA had their fall festival today and James and I headed over for the traditional corn dogs and egg rolls. We managed to spend about $50 on food that is now residing in our freezer for future enjoyment.

In addition to the wonders of it being officially fall Barns & Noble has their pumkin cheese cake out in the Starbucks cafe.

I think that the best part of the holidays is food. The decorating and seeing family and cooler weather are all very nice but the food is what many will remember. I remember the chocolate tort that my aunt made one thanksgiving and the mashed potatoes from another year. While last year I remember the mint browny and the pumkin cheese cake.

Something completely different now. We went and saw Serinity on the day it opened. It was a little hard to sleep that night. Some of it is rather graffic but I was very impressed with the movie telling a story and how well it was able to get things accross with the minimum gore.

I’m also looking forward to Wallis and Gromit. We’ll have to see when we can go to that movie. Sounds like it did very well so far. James is on call which makes things a little harder since he can’t turn his cell off and if he got a call we would have to leave during the movie. That wouldn’t be fun.  Anyway, we should probably spend more time on studies anyway.

cheryl: Background On It’s Way

I’m a little excited. James has been working on the website design again. It’s really rather cute….but don’t tell him that. jk Make sure you check out the sprig! It’s a personal favorite.

The seasons are starting to change and while I’m excited on one hand I’m not too happy on the other. I haven’t finished staining the table and chairs and I’m not looking forward to waiting another year to finish this. And the hair flying all over the place! Wind bothers me. I am happy that it’s cooler and I can finally start decorating this year. I love decorating. The bed frame and headboard are at a standstill for now. The frame is first coat stained and put together, not finished though. And the headboard is in the bedroom proped up on the wall with a blanket over it and some pillows so we can use it. I am determined to have it look nice though. For now what is important is to have the livingroom clean so we can focus on homework. That has been difficult the last two weeks with the mess. I’ll post some pictures here pretty soon.

Today I bought some bulbs to grow some pretty flowers. They should start blooming right around christmas when I decide to take off for vacation.

Have a good day.
