A New Month
Classes have ended and started again. Unfortunately, accounting last quarter sucked many things that I will not mention. James and I celebrated our falures last night at P.F. Changs that has some really good tofu. I hate most tofu so this is a nice change. Tomorrow really good left overs.
Holloween turned out to be a rather long regular sort of day. We never have trick or treaters so we had dinner and took a nap.
Currently I am working on ideas for Christmas gifts. I have to say that the only person(s) I enjoy buying gifts for is James, and me
. Anyway, I have some suprises that should be fun. Of course I can’t talk about them here or it wouldn’t be a suprise. I did decide that to make it easy on myself I would get certificates to a lovely chocolate place for most of the family. They were cheaper because of a company discount through work so that is even nicer. It’s a family tradition anyway and 6lbs of chocolate should go nicely with the holidays.
The table is ready to put together and the chairs are almost done. Two chairs need a darker coat and two need a touch up with the lighter coat then all should be ready to go into the newly (in progress of decorating) dinning room where we will host at least two to three meals with family and friends during the Christmas season. I really want some Christmas dishes and decorations as well as a buffet to hold the dishes. I’ll have to wait and save for it though. This evening should be a nice time to work on the finishing touches to the table and cleaning and decorating the second bedroom. I think I’ll just have to get rid of most of the stuff that is not in the closet already. There is just so much and we keep aquiring more and more books that I’m not sure we really want to get rid of. We could really use a library room. Someday.
So, now on to what else I will be getting for the rest of the family.
