Not much is happening here still. I have classes that are tiresome,  three attention demanding cats and a fish tank that always needs more cleaning. Oh, at that husband

Yesterday was different. Usually James and I come home and take a nap. Yesterday I met James at the usual Friday meeting spot, Barns & Noble and found him sitting with two other people. One was a guy from Southern California that he works with and Ryan George that went to SAA. He actually graduated my freshmen year but over the summer I met him at several vespers since he dated a girl in my class. Turns out he is working here in Sacramento doing programming so the three of them had a lot in common. After that we went home to take that nap when James got an oncall call that ended up with him going in to work and 3hrs of overtime while I sat around his cube and cleaned it. The man is messy! 

Today consisted of us sleeping in, going to my parents for lunch and some conversing and then home to do homework that didn’t get finished and won’t till tomorrow. The motivation just really isn’t there. 

Not much is happening this week. I was sick two days and stressed from homework. This weekend we’re planning to see Hoodwinked. It looked freaking hilarious. Squirrel on coffee! lol. Anyway, just sitting here munching on jordan almonds.

Today I made a vet appointment for Fuz and Pippin. That should be interesting taking two cats in at once.

I’m working on plans for a summer vacation but they really aren’t coming along very well. I may have to wait a few months for inspiration. 

I supose it would be about time for an update on our oh so interesting lives.

Let see, I’ll start with the kitten.

Pippin is getting lot! bigger since we brought him home. He gets around so well it’s hard to remember that he is only six weeks old. He likes the adult cat food and our largest cat likes the kitten food. All around they are not eating what they should. Another problem is that Pippin gets confused on occasion and goes potty in the wrong places. Yesterday, he managed to climb into a waste bin right after James had changed the bag. Apparently that is a good place to go. Another day he actually climbed into the adult cat food dish and went after making sure the food was pawed just right. He only does this when we are home and the rest of the time seems to find the litter box just fine. Our other cats have calmed down now and spend time playing and washing the kitten. 

Other things going on,

My class work is stressful of course. My math class is becoming a problem. I was never good with word problems and everything in this class is a word problem. The other class is easy enough being a life direction class. James has been working a little on his challenge classes as well as the Antelope church website and possibly a poker website for some guy.

My third week of working mornings is starting slowly. My boss is home sick and I’m drowsily making it through the morning.

In October we are going on a cruise to Mexico which I am really looking forward to. In June we have a scheduled vacation planned but no where to go yet. My cousins wedding ended up being on a different weekend than I thought so we won’t be able to tie it into our time off.

James is thinking about getting his licence soon. This may or may not change our habits but we’ll see. I usually drop him off at work and head over to my office then back to have lunch. This way we only have one car and one insurance to pay for. It’s extremely convienient with my high insurance payments from my accident in 2003. 

I have been adding pictures to our site. There isn’t a link up yet but they are visible in the random pictures area and in an album somewhere if you really want to spend time hunting around our site. F5 refreshes the page. 

Our noisy little baby is chowing down on his food like there is no tomorrow and wanting to explore the entire apartment. Fuzzy has been hissing appropriately if a little unemotionally while Cutie walks right up to the pip-squeak and sniffs him then gets offended because he wants to play with her. Pippin has been growing constantly since we brought him home Thursday. While small animals are cute I’ll be glad when he’s a bit bigger and less likely to be batted around by Fuz or stepped on. Plus he’s locked up all day for his own protection and he really does not like that.

Comming soon! I am working on adjusting some pictures to put on the site. They include Cutie, Fuz, James, 2005 Driver Christmas, the bed project, the table project, and Ryan and Amanda’s wedding photos.

On another note. My cousin Jolene is engaged. She told the family after coming back from Kenny Willis’, her uncles, wedding. I don’t know many details but in the end it sounded like the ordeal went over…..ok. More details when I hear them.

My other cousin, Diana, is getting married this summer. James and I had planned on attending and then going on a vacation while we were down there. Unfortunately, we thought it was June 25 instead of the 18th. Classes don’t get out till after that and we can’t skip the last week with finals and papers and possibly James "graduation". That’s a bit sad since I may never see her again. She and her husband are moving to their new home (not fair) in Wyoming (not envying). I hope we still get a vacation this summer.

My classes have started for the winter session. Blah! It should be easy enough though since one is stress management/financial planning/other stuff and the other class is business math consisting of what I’ve done in two other classes in the last year. Woohoo.

Monday I switched my schedule to mornings instead of afternoons Monday to Thursday. This way Amanda and I can work out together two days a week and I’ll have extra time to do homework as well as being more on the same schedule as James is. Poor guy usually doesn’t get enough sleep even if it is his fault. Now I’m the one not getting enough sleep because I’m not sleeping all morning. I know poor me. hehe.
