House Hunt Eliminations
James just informed me of a very dumb law that has eliminated Sacramento County from my list of house hunting areas. His co-worker had a dog put down because it bit someone and because of that an inspector came to the house. While there the inspector found out that he owned several cats and fined them $10 each for not registering their cats. Not only was he fined but had to take the money down to the court house to pay instead of just allowing him to mail a check. I doubt anyone but the inspector in Sac county knows about this and those who have been fined and I refuse to live in a county so bent on filling it’s pockets and inconveniencing it’s people. Placer is a nice place with nice law enforcement and to date no harassment from the court and no required license for a cat!
