Two weeks ago (it takes awhile to get photos off my phone) we went for a picnic at a local park. While we ate we made a new friend. Meet Sogna

First of all I would like to say that our kitty QT or Queen Tut seems to be doing better since we stopped feeding her canned cat food (nothing to do with the poisoned pet food) it seems she has an allergy to something in the food. No more indigestion.

Our second bit of good news is that today we heard that our offer was accepted by the seller of the cute condo featured lately. So, next week we should sign papers and start escrow. I’m excited but you should see James, don’t tell him but he’s almost giddy

We’ll keep everyone posted as we progress. I’d better start packing!

Today we had another walk-through on the condo we’ve made an offer on. My family and James dad came out to see the place with us. I’ve added more pictures on the condo to the 707 Dante Cir album. We’re waiting on a few things before actually accepting terms so we’ll keep everyone posted in the next few days.

Here is the current object of interest. It may or may not be what we actually purchase but we’ve done a walk through and liked what we saw. It’s a repo so it’d be a great bargain but we’re hoping to get an even better one with some negotiation.

The photo’s aren’t very good but it gives an idea of the look of the place. The previous owners didn’t live there very long because it still smells like fresh paint. All of the kitchen cabinets were upgraded to a light cherry wood tile on kitchen and 1/2 bath floor. The pantry door had a glass panel that looks very nice. All the carpet was upgraded to a very plushy pile even if it is brown….and it looks like the whole place is wired for surround sound. The biggest drawback is that right outside the master bedroom there is a great view of the Target parking lot. This will provide for a great sunset view but isn’t ideal the rest of the day. Since we plan to stay for a while it has a nice 3 bd 2 1/2 bath with the laundry on the second floor. That is probably my most desired feature in this place. It also has a two car garage and a very small patio by the front door. Overall we like it but are hoping for a really! good negotiation.
