Football Newby
A guy took his girlfriend to her first football game.
Afterward he asked her how she liked the game.
“I liked it, but I couldn’t understand why they were killing
each other for 25 cents,” she said.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“Well, everyone kept yelling, ‘Get the quarter back!’”

Hi Michael, honesty is an important quality for employees to have, because you want someone that you can trust. If you don’t trust someone whether it’s an employee, spouse etc. then the relationship is no good. Reliability is important too, because I have seen people abuse the system by using excess sick time. Cheryl: I agree that trust and honesty is very important. In my experience the young tend to be less reliable than the older and I’d imagine it has a lot to do with life experiences and gaining maturity. Not everyone starts off with it and some will never have it but for the lucky ones they learn and apply the knowledge.

As promised here I’ve added a new folder with pictures of our trip down south from back in November as well as several since summer.

I’ve also added several cute kitties pictures since they like to pose….ya right

And here are a few Christmas pictures including our tree and more kitties.

Our holidays were fairly bland. Most of Christmas was spend at my parents being leisurely and opening packages. Sunday before Christmas James and my parents and brother headed up to Paradise, CA for the afternoon to visit my grandmother who lives at the Feather Canyon (?) Retirement Center next Feather River Hospital. We did a very quick tour of her one bedroom apartment and Squirt her orange tabby then headed down to Chico’s brewery for some lunch. The place was packed but we got in fairly quickly and enjoyed very nice service and good food (no beer!) and met a very nice lady on the way out who said the balsamic vinegar the restaurant uses comes directly from Tuscany which explains the sweet flavor. Christmas day James and I had an breakfast of cinnamon rolls my mother made for Christmas and juice. Then we opened packages while the kitties attacked ribbons and paper and enjoyed sleeping in the boxes.
New years weekend was a very slow four days of reading, playing computer games, sleeping in late and eating things we shouldn’t. Lucky for us Christmas presents came in handy. We are trying to get in shape with the exercise bike and elliptical I got James. Last night we even broke out the giant exercise balls we bought months ago. That isn’t easy stuff there!
Now the world is forcefully dragging us back to reality and a new year. My new funny a day calendar will have to get me through the year.
