I started on Slashdot, somehow ended up on YouTube, and wow but I can’t get this song out of my head. It’s so perfectly serene.

It took awhile to find, but the song is Shine by Alcorus. I couldn’t find it for sale anywhere, but it is out there. Amazon has Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky. It sounds like a remake/remix/cover/something of Shine, but with lyrics. I spent most of the day with it running through my head.

On a related note, I’m fascinated with the concept for Mirror’s Edge. I’m not sure if I’d enjoy playing it, but the videos I’ve seen are enticing. I’ve never seen a first person perspective with so much presence.
