Coldplay in Sacramento
So last night James and I headed to the Sleep Train Amphitheater for a Coldplay concert. It was sooo hot and the two bands we heard before Coldplay were quite boring but once the show got started everyone was standing trying to see over the tops of the next row.
Unfortunately, I didn’t think to bring a real camera so the few shots I took were with my phone. Luckily for us the internet has a way of documenting everything so here are some photos found on the internet:
and a short clip of Chris on a small stage in the audiance
and a short clip of Lost!
and here are the few I took. We were really close to the lawn stage a few rows behind us, about 100 ft
someone has almost the right distance and view that we had in this video.
highlights for me were the confetti butterflies shot into the air (I took home a handfull!), the “mexican cell phone wave”, and the giant balloons tossed around during Yellow.
It took us two hours to get out of the parking area and to drive home. We listened to the free concert Coldplay CD that was given to everyone, I munched on cotton candy, and we admired the huge half moon hanging low on the horizon the color of old parchment paper while we inched our way home.
